Best Vancouver events and traditions for a Happy Easter

The Ultimate in Safety, Service and Satisfaction

Vancouver has a number of fun Easter activities, perfect for families with kids of all ages. From egg hunts to Easter fairs, these events are sure to brighten up your Easter weekend. Here are a few of Vancouver's best options.

Stanley Park Easter Fair

The Stanley Park Easter Fair has something to distinguish it from other Easter events: a train. Families can take a ride on the Stanley Park train and tour the entire park. There are a variety of other activities, including face painting, posy planting, and mini golfing. There is also an egg hunt and special visits from the Easter Bunny himself! The event is being held from April 13 to April 14.

VanDusen Botanical Garden A-Maze-ing Egg Hunt

Not all egg hunts are created equal. If your kids like a challenge, head on over to the VanDusen Garden, which plants egg throughout the garden's maze. Kids can navigate through the maze and various zones to find chocolate treats and more. This beautiful 55-acre garden also provides food selection, crafts, and other fun Easter activities. Families can visit the garden on April 15 or April 16 for a fun-filled day of Easter celebration.

Easter Vintage Car Rally

There are many ways to celebrate Easter. If you're a car lover, you might want to head over to the H.R. MacMillan Space Centre to check out the exciting collection of vintage cars. There will be more than 90 vintage cars parked in the adjacent lot, and interested visitors can come check them out. The cars run the gamut from Firebirds to collectible Corvettes. At 1 pm, the vintage automobiles file out of the parking lot in parade formation, which is certainly a sight to see for car lovers!

Easter Scavenger Hunt at the Vancouver Aquarium

The aquarium makes an excellent backdrop for an exciting Easter scavenger hunt. The clues lead families through the museum in search of eggs, and families learn fun trivia throughout the journey. The whole family will have to work together to solve the puzzles and unravel mysteries. At the end of the hunt, families win chocolate prizes and a chance to win an Animal Encounter. This event is held from April 14 to April 17.
