Booking a Flight? The 5 Best Airlines in the World

The Ultimate in Safety, Service and Satisfaction

Business Insider has rated the 20 top airlines in the world for travel, based completely on in-flight experience and reliability. While you may want to save your money while planning a personal trip, business trips offer a little more flexibility. You don't want to try to save money on a flight and end up delayed, after all; time is precious when it comes to productivity.

  1. Singapore Airlines. Singapore Airlines has long been considered one of the most comfortable airlines to journey on; they pride themselves on their customer service and remain happy and friendly throughout the journey.
  2. All Nippon Airways. This Japanese airlines has advanced technology, such as USB power outlets and seats that recline further than traditional airline seating. Customer service is also impeccable. Though this is a Japanese airlines, it doesn't just fly to Japan -- many Asian and Oceanic destinations are available.
  3. Qatar Airways. It shouldn't be a surprise that Qatar Airways, which moves from major metropolitan areas directly into Qatar, is a luxury experience. However, Qatar Airlines is limited by the fact that it doesn't fly to many destinations -- an issue that may be resolved if the airline keeps expanding at the rate that it has.
  4. Asiana Airlines. This airlines has remarkable on-time ratings and a comfortable experience. It is mostly limited to the Asiana region, as a South Korean airline, but it is the best airline for those who are traveling to these destinations.
  5. Malaysia Airlines. Don't believe it? It's true. Many people were stunned at the misfortune that struck Malaysia Airlines -- after all, so many of their flights have had issues. However, what many don't realize is that Malaysia Airlines is an incredibly large airlines serving Asia, Europe and Oceania. They have met consistently high standards of reliability and service over the years.

As you can see, most of the airlines that serve the Asian regions provide better customer service -- but there is a catch, and that is that the costs are usually significantly more expensive. While United Airlines, American Airlines and other similar operators didn't even make the top 20 list, they certainly offer bargain pricing.
