Enjoy Craft Beer and Tasty Bites at Vancouver's Best Brew Pubs

The Ultimate in Safety, Service and Satisfaction

British Columbia is known to be the birthplace of Canada’s craft beer industry, Vancouver being a fantastic place to visit for beer fans everywhere. For the past five years, there has been an increasing tendency for people to consume ales, stouts, lagers, and pilsners brewed in this region. As a result, there are now more than 100 breweries in this region ready to please the beer lovers. Many of these enterprises use quality local ingredients (hops, barley, honey, raspberries, cherries and other seasonal fruit) which are the result of the area’s mild climate. The result is a fresh-tasting beer with an interesting flavor, more complex than the majority of the national and international brands. Where there's a quality product, there's also a demand for it.

Did you know that Griffin Transportation, a Worldwide Chauffeured Services Company which offers its services in the greater Vancouver area and beyond, since 1999, has designed tour packages that show you the best sights and sounds of Vancouver? We can also customize tours for you and let you pick where to spend your time. Today we offer you a list of the best brewpubs in Vancouver.

Brassneck Brewery

Brassneck Brewery is a trendy location among the locals, being open to the public seven days a week. This brewery satisfies any beer fan's dream by having a tasting room and also a growler shop so that you can take your favorite to enjoy it at home. The variety of beers changes, giving you the possibility to choose from well-known styles and some less familiar ones. If the beer gives you an appetite, rest assured that you won't leave this place hungry. A food truck often stops in front of this location so you can order food to bring it inside and savor it along with your beer. Or you can choose to order something from their menu. Once you arrive at this location, we recommend you try a beer flight to maximize your tasting selection.

Postmark Brewing

Postmark Brewing is to be found in one of Vancouver’s most beloved spaces, the Settlement Building. Here you can find the Urban Winery, Belgard Kitchen, and the brewery, the combination of beer, wine, and food being able to satisfy any demand. The location has high windows and an industrial vibe but still manages to ensure a cozy atmosphere. Come here for a multitude of occasions, for example, if you have a date or you just want to hang out with your friends. The beer is surely fresh because they brew it in small batches and also use only quality ingredients. The menu gathers an excellent blend of seasonal and staple varieties, so there’s always something new to taste. If you're hungry, you'll be able to order food from Belgard Kitchen and choose from an array of dishes like dips, pizzettes, share plates or desserts.

33 Acres Brewing Co

This establishment, perfect for drinks with friends, offers freshly brewed beer on tap in a contemporary style location. You should know that they brew all of their beer and cider and they produce plenty of types to choose from. Depending on your drinking appetite, keep in mind that there are glasses available in 6 oz, 10.5 oz, and 24 oz. Your beer is best enjoyed next to some snacks so choose from the variety of nuts, cheese, charcuterie, ice cream and much more. You can also decide to purchase from a rotating list of food trucks parked outside the brewery. If you find your favorite, take a growler and ask them to fill it so you can take it home for later.

Red Truck Beer Company

This location is decorated following the truck stop theme. This neighborhood brewery is a very popular place since it combines freshly brewed beer, diner-style dishes, and live music. If there is a sunny day, choose to sit on the patio and enjoy a cold beer. If it's a little cold, don't worry because you'll find plenty of room inside. There's usually over a half dozen of the Red Truck beers on tap to choose from, and if you are undecided what to order, the friendly staff will help you make the right choice. If you want something to eat, there are plenty of options: from hot dogs and burgers to flavored fries and what they call an all-day egg-centric menu. Red Truck Beer Company is perfect for all the nostalgists.

Dockside Restaurant

This hotel pub is situated in Granville Island and its famous for its amazing microbrews crafted on the premises. The TVs and the fireplace make it the perfect place to watch hockey games if you're not a fan of spending time outside. Here you can admire all-around views of Vancouver and False Creek’s. The representative types include the Cartwright Pale Ale and the Haupenthal Hefeweizen. The food menu contains, for example, dishes like the Dockside crab and shrimp cakes, pizzas and albacore tuna poke, grilled and chilled ancho chili prawns.
