Festival of Lights
Each year, the VanDusen Botanical Garden outdoes itself with a truly marvelous Christmas lights display. For their 34th year, the public will get to enjoy over 1 million brightly shining lights over 15 acres of garden. There’s even a beautiful light display on Livingstone Lake every 20 minutes, so you won’t want to miss out on this. This family-friendly venue is suitable for all ages, and there are tons of activities for everyone to participate in.

Bright Nights
Even if you have tons of lights strung up at home, you’re not even going to come close to Stanley park’s three million lights. Dark forest sections are beautifully illuminated for Christmas, and that’s not all you’ll get to enjoy with friends and family. There’s tons of yummy snacks, lively music and entertainment, train rides, and many other fascinating activities to try out. Donations and a portion of ticket sales will go towards the BC Professional Fire Fighters' Burn Fund.

Once evening falls, twinkling Christmas lights decorate the Capilano suspension bridge and its surrounding area, creating a magical atmosphere that’s sure to captivate even the hardest heart. Here, you can enjoy a magnificent sight: the world’s tallest living Christmas trees (over 200 feet tall!). There’re tons of fun activities that are suitable for the whole family, so come on over and join the experience.

Lights at Lafarge
The largest free outdoor lights display at Lower Mainland’s Lafarge Lake is sure to captivate. Here, you’ll get to enjoy the sight of hundreds of thousands of lights all the way around the lake. 10 themed zones are available for exploration along the 1.2 km loop, so you can definitely look forward to a leisurely stroll and plenty of photo-taking opportunities.
