It's Time to Celebrate Halloween in Vancouver

The Ultimate in Safety, Service and Satisfaction

Up for some Halloween fun in Vancouver? It’s that time of the year again where we get to show off our creativity with amazing costumes and experience some of the most ghoulish sounds ever to be heard. Let’s take a look at what you and the whole family can enjoy during this fantastic 2017 holiday:

  • Fun for All Ages

Part of the fun of Halloween is jump scares and plenty of screams. Potter’s House of Horrors doesn’t disappoint. A garden center is transformed into an eerie maze filled with the latest animatronics, realistic sounds and trained performers. There’ll be plenty of opportunities for the whole family to get involved: 4-7 p.m. is where kids aged 12 and under get to enjoy Lil’ Haunters, 4-6:30 p.m. is the designated Family Hour where you’ll get to experience a tamer thrill up your spine, and 7-10 p.m. is where the fiendish ultimate scary show begins.

Venue: Potter’s Farm & Nursery, 12530 72nd Avenue, Surrey.

  • Get it Going with Fright Nights

As Western Canada’s scariest haunt, there’s plenty to look forward to this 2017. Make your way to Playland Theme Park to experience all the rides and attractions you want as well as seven special haunted houses. If you’re looking to scare yourself silly this season, you can definitely get a head start with the Keepers Doll Factory, Asylum, Car-N-Evil and lots more amazing themes. This must-attend Halloween attraction also includes a fire troupe and nightly performances.

Venue: Playland at the PNE 2901 E Hastings Street.

  • A Whimsical Event

If you’re a fan of magical moments and the classic “Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland,” you’ll want to join VanDusen’s Glow in the Garden event. Take a stroll down garden paths with the white rabbit and enjoy all the amazing lights and sounds as well as brightly illuminated pumpkins. There’s plenty to do for all ages and you’ll get to enjoy tons of food, drinks, crafts and other spooktacular treats.

Venue: VanDusen Botanical Garden, 5251 Oak Street.

  • For the Big Ones

Mark down the 27th of October for the 14th Anniversary of Dooms Night. This very welcomed electronic/house music event will take place at the Pacific Coliseum. Acts to look forward to including Tiesto, HeadHunterz, Don Diablo, Daijo, and Brillz. If you’re looking for a good bouncing time with plenty of like-minded fans, be sure to get in on the action this year and have a blast.

Venue: Pacific Coliseum, 2901 E Hastings Street.

  • Hop onto the Trolley

The partnership between the Vancouver Trolley Company and Vancouver Police Museum has again brought about the special Haunted Vancouver Trolley Tour. Get on as night falls and sit back as you’re taken on a tour of some of the scariest stories ever. It’s suitable for children from aged 13 onwards and it’ll be for the duration of 2.5 hours. You’ll be covering plenty of spooky attractions, so this is one ride you’ll want to be on this 2017.

Venue: You’ll depart from The Irish Heather Gastropub, Gastown at various times starting in the evening.

It’s a little unfortunate that Halloween falls on a Tuesday this year, but you can expect the weekend before to be pumped full of activities and attractions. By using our Vancouver limousine service, you’ll get to enjoy yourself from location to location and avoid the frustrations of traffic delays and relying on crowded public transport. Our professional chauffeurs are more than prepared to transport you safely to any venue in Vancouver, so you can just sit back and enjoy the ride.
