What About a Luxury Gym to Go with that Luxury Hotel?

The Ultimate in Safety, Service and Satisfaction

Whether you do it for work or for vacation, you can find yourself staying in a hotel. Maybe you decide to spoil yourself every now-and-then and stay in somewhere nice, like a luxury hotel. You know the room is nice, and the building overall, but have you considered the gym? You may find yourself surprised to learn that from East to West, there are luxury hotels with gyms that are equally luxurious.

Why Not Go West.

Nevada has more to offer than Las Vegas, and so does the Canyon Ranch Hotel and Spa. With big floor to ceiling windows offering gorgeous ocean views, Canyon Ranch already has a lot going for it. Having a great view while you work out is hardly all they offer; your room key doubles as a fitness tracker that can offer custom workout routines. Besides the usual workout machines, they also offer a 40-foot climbing wall.

These Mid-West Finds.

Chicago’s Radisson Blu hotel is only a few years old, and the gym they offer is 8,000 square-feet in size. It offers everything from a 25-meter indoor lap pool, to a hardwood basketball court and a half-mile running trail. The hotel also has some personal trainers that they keep on staff, for hotel guest to make appointments for a session. On top of all that, they still offer the usual machine gyms always have.

Go Up North.

Manhattan, New York does not really need to sell people on their luxury hotels. But, if you want a stay that will include a great gym experience, check out The Mark. It offers the same as most hotels with treadmills and weights, but that is where the similarities seem to end. Guest have the possibility of having one-on-one training sessions from kickboxing and MMA pros from Punch Fitness, which was started by the former kickboxing champ Adelino DeCosta. Thought the 1,400 square-foot studio can get small, guest can do the kickboxing and MMA programs, or opt for some Brazilian jiu-jitsu training.

Or Down South.

They say everything is bigger in Texas, and it rings true with the gym in The Houstonian Hotel, Club and Spa in Huston, Texas. With a gym that offers just about everything from 300 cardio and weight machines, to an indoor running track and countless other features, the Houstonian definitely stands out from the rest. If that is not convincing, they also are the ones to house dozens of NFL prospects as they train for the NFL Combine.

And the East.

Washington D.C. is a hotspot for hotels. But, go away from the main area and head to Georgetown for The Fairmont hotel. While the gym that The Fairmont offers is inside the hotel, Washingtonians use it every day. For small, daily free, you can gain access during your stay and use the 50-foot lap pool, play some squash or basketball, and make use of the complimentary towels and workout gear. Round your workout off with a trip to the sauna, the gym also offers.

Hotel gyms tend to garner a lot of skepticism from people looking to workout during their stay. But, they do not all need it- if you base hotel options on the gyms they offer, take a look at these and the countless others out there. If you know where to look, you can find hotel gyms that you could never dream of.
